Artistic Director of New York's Battleworks Dance Company, Robert Battle, returns to River North Chicago to follow 2008’s exhilarating Train with a world premiere and his bravura solo, Ella, celebrating the scat vocals of Ella Fitzgerald. Following her recent success with American Ballet Theatre, in-demand, cutting-edge choreographer of 2006’s ahimsa, Lauri Stallings, returns to debut a world premiere entitled suppose. The critically acclaimed piece, Forbidden Boundaries by Artistic Director Frank Chaves and crowd favorite, Evolution of a Dream by Sherry Zunker return to round out the Company’s 20th Anniversary season.
